Meet Stephanie

We live in a remarkable time. This is an age when content is king, as everyone from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies work to tell their stories louder and to tug people's heartstrings more than anyone else in their space. I'm here to help you do that.

  • I believe that everyone has a story to tell.

  • I believe that news goes beyond crime and crashes and needs to get to the heart of the matter.

  • I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and … sorry – Bull Durham moment.

  • I believe we – journalists, storytellers, writers – can still make a difference; we simply have to do things a little differently.

Professionally, I want to find ways to do what we do while making it relevant to the next generation. The medium of television is changing, yet we who work in it are so busy chasing deadlines we can't keep up with the big picture. I don't want to simply keep up, I want to play a role in deciding what that picture should look like.

Personally, I want to live life to the fullest without being so exhausted that I can't appreciate it all.  Outside of work, I find myself reading and researching to stay on top of trends. My husband and I love to travel, whether the destination is somewhere familiar or somewhere new.  We also travel to dance West Coast Swing (that's how we met – thanks, MADJam!) and support our local dance community here at home.  When I have time, I work with local animal rescues, and pick up the occasional freelance job. That's how I had the opportunity to drink from the Stanley Cup. After all, what's life if it's not lived?
